November 21, 2020

Saturday evening here at Gran's place. The house is fairly quiet and I'm actually enjoying it. It's been a week full of sadness weighing over happiness, but we're trying to stay focused on the good.
There's a sweet young lady that lives in a town close to mine that has cancer. She's so very young. I know that this kind of event happens in every city, in every state, in every country all across this globe, but this time it's close to us and it's close enough to almost be here at home. Don't get me wrong. I'm thankful that she's tough and she's a fighter and she's surrounded by a community that adores and loves her and is supporting her by raining down prayers over her and her family. But I think that a country that can pour billions into finding a vaccine for a virus that has a 99.9% survival rate within a single year should have long found a cure for this life ending disease known as cancer. There's just no excuse for it.
And I don't know if anyone is reading this or going through my cake photos and it's fine if this is all just for me. But if you are out there, I don't care if you don't message me or follow my blog or anything like that. But I would sure appreciate it if you would also send up a prayer for this young lady and her family. She needs all the help she can get to fight this.

Pink Zebra the first time I say anything on this the representative said something about sprinkles and I about ordered some for my cake. Talk about feeling silly when I asked what they tasted like!

Little Maddox turned FIVE this week! This lil creepy crawly super hero loving kid is so great!

Special Congratulations to Jenifer and Travis on their upcoming wedding!

My little Brantley is THREE today! His precautious parents went with a pull apart cake. He loves fire trucks so what better to pair up with a fire truck than little flame cupcakes!
